Producers hope to cash in on the recent shark thriller craze which also saw The Meg, which is now available on BluRay and Digital Download, become unexpected hit after earning over $500 million at the box office worldwide –and over $140 million domestically. Last month it was revealed that producers had moved forward with a sequel, The Meg 2, as well.
