The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the dumping of three juvenile bull sharks that had been killed and gutted and left on a Titusville shoreline.
The carcasses were found in Kennedy Point Park on Thursday.
“I can’t believe they’d just gut it and throw their bodies away, make them go to waste,” Kyle Bramblett, who found the discarded sharks, told WOFL-Fox 35.
Because they are a protected species, it is illegal to harvest or possess bull sharks. The FWC is requesting that anyone who has information on the case to contact them at 1-800-636-0511.
